You will need to be able to handle member’s financial information and credit checks both on paper and on computer, to reach clear judgements and to be able to explain these both in writing and verbally.
You will work as part of a team with the loans administrator and other loan officers.
This challenging role will be suitable for someone with good computer skills, sound financial understanding and excellent people skills. Full training will be provided.
This is an internal audit role, reviewing and appraising all staff and volunteers to ensure rules and procedures are being followed.
Directors are required to offer a commitment to the future success and current workings of Wyvern Savings and Loans. There are various roles, which will oversee staff and volunteers in daily operations, including Secretary, Human Resources and Chairman.
The treasurer will be required to provide a monthly financial statement, and attend monthly board meetings. Quarterly and annual reporting will also be required. The treasurer will work closely with the Office manager and treasury team, maintaining an overview of the Credit Unions affairs, ensuring that it retains financial viability and that proper financial records and procedures are maintained.
The role of treasurer is a reasonable commitment, and we would expect you to be able to dedicate approximately one day a week to this role, however this may be more demanding at peak times of the year.
